Arive Arts

Arive is considered one of the forefathers of Miami graffiti style and
culture. Growing up in the Wynwood area, long before the galleries and boutiques came along, he first began to tag walls in the early 80’s, directly inspired by his older cousin form New York City. From there he went on to become one of the most technically advanced graffiti artists of the era and would inspire many that came after. Arive thrives on the opportunity to blur the art lines by pushing and
skillfully combining a vast array of all art theories, styles and
mediums. He feels no one form of art takes a hierarchy over another
and they can all be encompassed to form new colorful compositions to depart from what he considers classic. Progress and quality in art is what he values most, this is evidently seen in his old works til this
present time. Today he rolls with Miami’s MSG Crew, and continues to teach and learn.
